In April 1940, on Stalin's orders, 21,857 Polish officers and policemen, prisoners of war kept at the Kozielsk, Ostashkov and Starobelsk camps, were shot in the back of the head at Katyń, Mednoe, Kharkov, and other places of the Soviet Union
In memory of the victims will be constructed - The Katyń Family of Lower Silesia.
The monument will be situated: Park of J. Słowacki near the Panorama Racławicka
