EGI infrastructure

The European Grid Initiative (EGI) is an initiative of European computing centers committed to developing grid infrastructure in Europe.
The management of the infrastructure and services has been delegated to a non-profit foundation, EGI.eu, established under Dutch law.

WCSS provides some of the resources within the EGI infrastructure. as an NGI (National Grid Initiative) the PL-Grid infrastructure is associated with EGI. EGI resources can be used by joining one of the Virtual Organizations. Each of them is assigned specific grid resources to use.

The following can conduct VO calculations in WCSS: atlas, alice, lhcb, cms, biomed, voce and vo.plgrid.pl.
